HONOR

My name is LaToya Cooper, and I’ve been a resident of Champaign County for over 40 years. I graduated from the University of Phoenix online studies on July 31, 2022, with a Bachelor of Science in Corrections Program Support Services Degree and am furthering my education at the University of Phoenix with a Master of Science in Counseling Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

Since August 2023, I've been mentoring the women weekly at the Champaign County Jail. I use a curriculum I created that covers goals, emotional wellness, obstacles, challenges, resources, and transitioning back into the community.
